THE SIGNPOSTS ON THE ROAD

GETTING READY ?

There is so much we think we have to be doing in this world of ours.    We are living, growing, doing, speaking, running, walking, and traveling to and fro; making decisions, thinking and reflecting on mostly what we have at hand.

ARE YOU READY ?   JESUS IS
                           HE IS COMING SOON  !

                                 WE ARE ON A JOURNEY
                                  JUST LIKE ABRAHAM

      I know where I am going !
I know the One who will guide me on my way !
I know the Eternal Home waiting for me is Sure !

Jesus either was telling the truth or he lied
Jesus either was crazy or he was telling the truth.
If he was telling the TRUTH  why not Trust Him.

Read about it in the Bible.    The whole Bible from cover to cover is all about Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.    Let His dear Spirit help you find Him.     Trust Him today.   He is the Living Way.   John 14. v. 6   I am the way, the truth and the life, no one cometh to the Father but by me.

ALL THE WAY - EVERY DAY HE LEADS

ALL THE WAY - EVERY DAY

All the way, every day, He leads.
Old hymns are one way that I encourage my heart.   One of these hymns is Fanny Crosby's ALL THE WAY MY SAVIOR LEADS ME
All the way my Savior leads me,
What have I to ask beside?
Can I doubt His tender mercy,
Who through life has been my guide?
      Heavenly peace, Divinest comfort,
Here by faith in Him to dwell....
FOR I KNOW, WHATE'ER BEFALL ME, JESUS DOETH
            ALL THINGS WELL !
FOR I KNOW, WHATE'ER BEFALL ME, JESUS DOETH
            ALL THINGS WELL!

As we enter into the season of Thanksgiving and Christmas, for Chanukkah and joys of family, I encourage you that God knows and cares for you.    He delights in leading us on.

All the way my Savior leads me - Cheers each winding path
          I tread,
Gives me grace for every trial, Feeds me with the Living Bread,
Tho my weary steps may falter and my soul athirst may be,
Gushing from the Rock before me, Lo ! A spring of Joy I see !
Gushing from the Rock before me, Lo ! A spring of Joy I see !

TWISTS AND TURNS, EVER ONWARD I GO

TWISTS AND TURNS, EVER ONWARD I GO

I am bound to keep on going.
The Road is ever twisting and turning,
but I see that I am closer, ever more
Finding the Shepherd helping me, guiding me,
Lest I stray by the wayside.
A sheep follows the Voice of His Shepherd.
The Shepherd knows how to guide the sheep.
     Ever onward, I follow, clinging
to the One who I know.
I will ever Trust Him who Is Able.
The Light He has given me will draw
          others to follow after me,
My task is not to look and see who
          is following, but to
          Keep On Keeping On
Looking for His Promise to be with me always.

GIVING MY BEST, MOMENT BY MOMENT

          MOMENT BY MOMENT

I am able to take one moment, and cherish it.
I am blessed to have that one moment.
"Jesus Christ, the same Yesterday, Today, and Forever" is what Hebrews 13.8 declares.   In Christ I have the resource of continued strength, and the ability to do what I can, for as long as I can, and however I can, for whoever God sends my way, and for whatever my circumstances or situation may be.

At Thanksgiving Time it is especially fitting that I think of that verse which says
                    "GIVE THANKS IN EVERYTHING
FOR THIS IS THE WILL OF GOD IN
                    CHRIST JESUS CONCERNING YOU."
                           I THESSALONIANS 5.18

May your Thanksgiving Day be filled with the
Presence of the Lord, for His Promise was that He
Would be with us.   I bless the Lord for you, my
friend, that He has given me the privilege of sharing
my heart, and my Lord with you.   God give you
the courage to accept the things you cannot change,
the courage to change the things you can, and the
          wisdom to know the difference.

HAPPY  THANKSGIVING DAY and God bless you.

GIVING MY BEST, MOMENT BY MOMENT

GIVING MY BEST,
MOMENT BY MOMENT

My aim is to glorify God
in my life

by
abiding in Christ

by
walking in the Spirit

by
knowing my Father in Heaven
is watching over me

while I go about
living,
loving others.

John 15.16,17

You have not chosen me,
but I have chosen you,
and ordained you,
that you should go and bring forth fruit,
and that your fruit
should remain,
that whatsoever you shall ask
of the Father in my Name
He may give it you.

Giving my best moment by moment,
I am given the strength by God
to do what He asks of me,

Giving my best moment by moment,
I know that the Results of what I do
are up to Him.

Being Available to God
is all He asks.

MOMENT BY MOMENTmm

MOMENT BY MOMENT
I'VE LIFE FROM ABOVE

Moment by Moment,
I'm kept in His love,
Moment by Moment,
I've life from above,
Looking to Jesus
Till glory doth shine,
Moment by Moment,
O Lord, I am thine.
          (Daniel Whittle 1840 - 1901)

Moment by Moment

Jesus said in Luke 9.23 If anyone would follow me,
let him deny himself, take up his cross daily,
and come
follow me.

Along life's road there is much to distract a person
from following Christ.
The first thing we must do
is
LET GO OF OUR "SELF"
and
give to God all that I am or hope to be.

The next thing is
to
DAILY
take up my cross

IN DOING THIS
We follow on,
Moment by moment,
Day by Day.

There is no short cut to following God along
life's road.

WHEN TROUBLES ASSAIL

When troubles assail, most mountain climbers quit.    The question is, is it harder to go back to where I came from, or easier just to keep going? comes to most climbers.
In the Christian life, the Spirit is the One who leads and guides the Believer on the road of Life for He always will uplift the Savior in the Believer, and glorify the Father in Heaven.   The glorious Elohim is the Strong One - the ONE who is A PLURAL NOUN THAT USES A SINGULAR VERB.   People eats is an example of a plural noun with a singular verb.     God The Father is called ELOHIM.   God the Son is called the Creator and the One who made all things.  John chapter 1.1 - 3
Genesis 1.1 tells us that  IN THE BEGINNING GOD CREATED THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH.   It does not argue it.   It only presents God as BEING the STRONG ONE who created all things.   In chapter 1 of Genesis in verse 26 and 27 we see that God created man in His image - "Let us make man in our image"   "In the image of God created He him."
Let us remember that the very one who put us here is the One who loves us and cares for us, and longs to share our life with us.    When troubles assail, and the heart is weary, let each of us turn to the Lord in our need, and let Him direct our way, comfort our hearts, and renew our strength.
Philippians 4.13  "I can do all things through Christ who is my strength."   The same One who began all things is the very One who wants to give me overcoming power over troubles and fears, over difficulties and obstacles.   He will strengthen us.
